ABC Art Trail3rd and 4th September 2022A day out with a difference.Rita Mitchell is joining 24 artists and preparing for the open studios trail across Attenborough, Beeston and Chilwell in South Nottinghamshire.Rita will be welcoming guests at her studio where a variety of paintings will include some local scenes, portraits, landscapes, abstracts and still life.The trail has grown with each successful year and is becoming more popular as a quality family weekend event: last year some venues had over 500 adult visitors over the weekend.This year 30 Artists in 10 venues invite you to enter the cherished spaces where the magic happens. Paintings and pottery; jewellery, sculpture, photography, textiles and glass; the secrets of their making are usually just the kind of conversations that we love to have with visitors. BUS RENOVATION PROJECT
Leyland Titan B4 Double Decker Bus. First in duty as an iconic RED LONDON BUS.
Last in service as a council run mobile youth club.

Windows triple glazed with all new window seals.
Sky light roof-hatch, double glazed, giving roof access.
Roof is ribbed with ten shaped beams (triple varnished) ready to facilitate solar panels.
Insulation. ‘SuperQuilt’ installed throughout upper deck.
Walls and ceiling clad with triple-varnished ply.
Chimney (6inch) fitted for multi fuel stove. Twin wall insulated.
